Story of My Life...

A commonly used phrase , and a good explanation of today's post! "Story of my life" scene one: STILL haven't gotten the Glow pictures from a CERTAIN SOMEONE. They're terrible pictures (they were taken at night...) but I still want them!! It was a GREAT night, and I can't be bothered to post a... post of the night without at least ONE picture of me wearing glowsticks as accessories!

Second "story of my life" and what this post is PRIMARILY about: Tales of the petti monster! ;D All you loli's out there know what I'm talking about, am I right? Anyways, so this is what I wore today:

(Yes, the derpy face is indeed required! xD) I personally only planned this coord yesterday, and I'm really pleased with how it came out! I've been trying to get SOMETHING red to match my strawberry earrings, lol. Of course, that petti (actually, TWO petticoats xD) made it interesting to drive to school. Hard getting in, and then...

BAM. Takes up the WHOLE front seat, AND make it difficult to buckle up xDD Oh petticoats. We love you. We really do. And then, because of the lack of adequate changing time, as per usual... (third "story of my life" lol)

LOLITA AT ARCHERY. Probably the BEST loli picture I've ever been in! xD And made complete by the fact that you can't see my TERRIBLE groupings. ;P Also, the photographer here (my friend and classmate) can NOT stop poking the floofmonster whenever she sees it, which is highly amusing.

A Day Dressed in Light

So yesterday, in the blinding sun and nauseating heat, I decided to wear all white! (Except the shoes.. lol. I wish I had white shoes D:) My hope was to reflect as much of the heat-carrying rays of light as possible. It turned out quite well! <3 And to top of my outfit, my LIGHTbulb pendant necklace C; (See what I did there?) Unfortunately the pictures weren't wonderful, but here's the best one:

Everything is offbrand ;P As mentioned last post, I do a considerable amount of bargain shopping, so I end up with FABULOUS items for next to nothing! Brand items are a bit rarer in this loli's collection, unfortunately.

Shopping Finds!

Ok, so the aforementioned post about my recent shopping scores! I spent all day Saturday before the art exhibit at estate sales, swap meets and thrift stores, trying to find lovely treasures at prices this poor loli could afford ;) And find things I did!

First trip of the day was estate sales, since things from those go EARLY. I was able to find:

This is a VINTAGE blouse that I got for... *drumroll* $3.25!!! SUCH A STEAL. Going to wear it tomorrow <3

These two necklaces are not only exceptionally cool, but completely unique! The metal one leaves a residue, though, so I can't wear it with collared shirts :C (Sorry for the fuzzy picture!)

Then to the swap meet! I was able to find some AMAZING stuff for REALLY CHEAP there. It was fantastic! There's always the hope that SOMEDAY I'll find a BTSSB or AP dress really cheap at those xD Anyways, here's what I bought:

LOVELY white eyelette jsk dress! And was WONDERFULLY cool during today's disgustiing temperatures of... 113F? Yeah... completely aweful.

A BUNCH of headpiece goodies, for DIRT CHEAP. Though not everything pictured here is from the swap meet, obviously. But I got four sets of bows for a buck. I've been clipping them onto everything! ;D

Then, at the hottest part of the day... onto the air-conditioned thrift shops! Air conditioning is GLORIOUS. Wearing loli in a heat wave is NOT FUN. Didn't score much there, but for whatever reason, I'm always miss-miss-miss-miss-hit-miss at thrift stores, lol...

Anyways, tomorrow or the next day I'll post about the Glow, as well as the stuff I've been wearing! <3 (That's the REAL reason you're reading this, of course ;P) Also, at some point I'll compile my resources and do a post on lolita fashion and what it is. Been a bit busy lately though D:

A Little Loli Life: The Beginning

Hello world!!
